Surahn Singh Sidhu AKA Sidwho? was born from classical Indian musical lineage in 1981. He studied various disciplines including the Voice and began his professional career as a boy soprano in theatre in Adelaide, Australia - where he was born and raised.

After moving through the local scene in Adelaide, Sidwho? quickly formed a small techno imprint and released a series of 12-inches for like minded house and techno souls. With limited success, he continued to push forward, establishing studios in Adelaide and making his name as a bass player and guitarist in local band The Swiss. Signed to Modular Records, The Swiss released their breakthrough disco debut EP in 2010 to great worldwide acclaim featuring the dancefloor smashes 'Bubble Bath' and 'Manthem'. They've since remixed the likes of Annie, Headman, Ladyhawke and The Holidays; sold out multiple European and American tours and have established themselves as one of Australia's premiere live acts.

Sidwho?'s enjoyed further success with his debut 12" on UK imprint The Walls Have Ears with the disco-rock-romper "Vote Bowie For President". Championed by Tim Sweeney's Beats In Space and Todd Terje, Prins Thomas went one better - naming it his favourite track of the year. Encouraged to pursue his passion for making disco records, Sidwho? has put out "I Do the Night" and "Pay for Love" on Australian label Future Classic, with more releases on the way in 2011 through French label I'm A Cliche and Prins Thomas' Internasjonal. Musically Sidwho?'s never been bound to one philosophy and remains quite enigmatic in his approach to record releases. He's currently working on a full length Love Songs Album and joint releases with DFA's Woolfy and I'm A Cliche stalwart Cosmo Vitelli.

After being a Director and Booker for The Edinburgh Castle Hotel in Adelaide from 2007-09, the weight of work became too heavy when Sidwho? was asked to join Australian pop act Empire of the Sun and consequently resigned from his role to pursue the opportunity. He's been playing with Empire of the Sun as a guitarist/vocalist/bassist/percussionist since its debut show in early late 2009 and continues to tour and write with the internationally acclaimed band.

And somewhere amongst all that lot, he still finds time to DJ... and he's a bloody good DJ too.
